Well TGT Webcomics missed the 2008 nominations for the PodcastAwards.com. With your votes and support I wish to see TGT into the General Category Finals! But, in order to do that we need to get nominated.
General Category:
Title: TGT Webcomics
URL: http://tgtwebcomics.com
Remember to fill out the bottom of the form and click submit
that’s it and that’s all there is too it.
Important: You only get to submit the nomination form “1″ time. Please fill it out completely! Once you hit Submit you are done for 2009! Please do not submit the same show in multiple categories. Important: Do not nominate the same show for People’s Choice and Best Produced, nominate 2 different shows in the top two categories. You can nominate your favorite show in one of the top two categories and one additional category. Nominating one show in multiple sub-categories will get your nomination thrown out.
Saturday, October 3rd, 2009 is the 24 Hour Comics Day event. While all I know about it is when comic creators put themselves into the Le Mans event of creation to make a 24-page comic book written, drawn, and completed in 24 hours. We are just one of many podcasts out there and I’d like to thank Webcomic Beacon, Gigcast and anyone that listens to this cast for their support of such a great community.

TGT Date / Time Saturday – 6PM ET / 3PM PT
Same TGT Station: http://www.talkshoe.com/tc/22928

Saturday, October 3rd, 2009 is the 24 Hour Comics Day event. While all I know about it is when comic creators put themselves into the Le Mans event of creation to make a 24-page comic book written, drawn, and completed in 24 hours.
I’d like to take the time for creators of the collective that have done or are doing this event to call into the show which will be held from 6PM ET for as long as TalkShoe will record. ‘
I want our collective (and anyone else for that matter) to use this time to promote your comics, your experiences, things you have learned about doing such a grueling event, funny stories from sleep deprivation and whatever else comes to mind.
We already have a few people calling in: Barry Linck (Phineus), J Horsley 3 (Y2CL), Ryan Hudson (Channel Ate) and we will have Nat Gertler the creator of the 24 Hour Comic Day Event on the show as well.
You don’t have to stay long if you don’t want, but if possible I’d like everyone’s participation in this event.
Email me if you’d like to stop by so I can slot you all in
Also, we’re being plugged by Webcomic Beacon so that’s cool as well.

Just a quick note to everyone that Episode #4 of Hard Graft’s small and slightly amateurish podcast, Pond to Pond hosted by myself and Jules Rivera of Marsh Rocket fame is ready for download either directly or via itunes now!
Also, speaking of Hard Graft, we will be coming out of hiatus this Monday where we’ll wrap up issue two. It should be a corker so stay tuned!
Finally, as announced by Albone (creator of Rival Angels) last week, I have penned a short story for Rival Angels which should be released very shortly I have sworn myself to secrecy on this subject so you will have to wait and see!

Today we’ve re-opened the applications to join the WCPC. We’ve decided to increase our membership to allow new members to increase the amount of potential for all members.

Okay, the collective site is revamped and ready to roll with some new mods (modifications) and various other things to be seen in the near future, if anyone finds any problems or has suggestions, comment!

Jessica Cantlope, a.k.a. “Senshuu” of both Lovefeast and Millennium will be joining us for the “Random Hour of Randomness(tm)” (a.k.a. Moonhawk Studios Presents) tonight at 7PM Pacific / 10PM Eastern. So if you have the time, do drop by our show page on TalkShoe and show your support. Stay tuned!
